Ugh, is it Fall already? While I do tend to get excited about busting out my boots and dressing in layers, the novelty seems to wear off pretty quickly for me…what can I say? I’m a summer baby, and if I could live somewhere where it was shorts weather all the time, well that’d be okay by me. But let’s quit the ranting already and get to it! Here’s what’s been on repeat beauty-wise during the month of August. Enjoy.

As my hair seems to be more on the parched side than usual, I’ve been reaching for quick fixes to dry ends and fly-aways like the Living Proof No Frizz Leave In-Conditioner which I love for its simplicity and great smell. Speaking of things that smell great, I haven’t put down the Aerin Amber Musk perfume since it was gifted to me for my Birthday in July. While the full sized bottle is absolutely beautiful, I love having a small sample version to pop in my purse when I’m on the go.

Where makeup is concerned, one thing stands out above all the others and that is the new Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation from Make Up For Ever. It’s glorious in that you can’t feel a thing and your skin is left looking like a naturally better version of itself. With a formula like that it’s not surprising that it’s received such rave reviews across the board.

For lips I’ve been fully embracing a glossy finish over anything else. The Flower Beauty Shine On Lip Gloss in Baby’s Breath is nearly an exact dupe for NARS Turkish Delight and at a measly $8 how could you go wrong? I love how moisturizing it feels and that the paler pink shade brings out the best in my Summer tan.

If you’re into eyelash primers, the new Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer is definitely one to try. This is the first lash primer I’ve ever owned and it really does make a big difference in the overall length and look of my lashes. I know a lot of people love the Dior offering (I agree, it’s amazing) but if you’re not willing to splurge, the Tarte version is a whole $10 cheaper (albeit slightly smaller) and also comes with a deluxe sample of the Lights Camera Lashes mascara. A perfect pairing.

As a self-confessed neutrals lover, the Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow in the shades S-642 (Sahara) and M-532 (Sugar Coated Candy) have become my staples for easy, no fuss eyeshadow application. The formula of these shadows is absolutely beautiful, so if you don’t own any already you should definitely make yourself a little palette the next time you hit up Sephora!

Lastly, I have been wearing the Trust Fund Beauty nail polish in I Had It First over and over again. I find these types of milky pink shades extremely flattering with my skin tone and an easy option for an understated, yet chic, look. To top it off I’ve been using the CND Weekly Top Coat which is now on its last legs, unfortunately. I think it just might be the best top coat I’ve used yet, it’s that good!

What have you been loving this past month?
