As my last post with the CrossIron Mills Style Panel for 2015 (so sad), I wanted to share my purchases from shopping the Black Friday sales! I am such a huge fan of everything I was able to pick up, the look as a whole and the individual pieces – which I will be able to style with so many different things I already have in my closet. Hope you love them as much as I do!

I actually did my Black Friday shopping on the 23rd, as there were so many sales that started early I just wasn’t able to resist…plus, avoiding the crowds on the 27th seemed like a fantastic idea to me. The amount of stuff I was about to get with my $250 gift card was amazing, but lets chalk that up to the mixture of an outlet mall in combination with Black Friday. What can I say, this girl loves a bargain!

There were a few things I already had on my wish list going in, one being the nude ALDO Senor High Heels (not pictured) as well as a quality pair of black skinny jeans. I was able to grab my heels for $50 (half off, still on sale) and the black jeans I picked up at the Levi’s outlet were only $54, but I could’ve done a BOGO half off on those had I wished.

Of course I had to pop into Banana Republic on my trip (anyone else obsessed?) and was able to find a couple of really great pieces. The white sleeveless blouse, which I found so unique was 60% off and the fuzzy sweater, 30% off. I love the hem of the blouse which looks so pretty layered with various sweaters and in the Spring/Summer I will be able to wear it on its own too! The sweater on the other hand it extremely cozy and I especially love the subtle leather details on the pockets and zip closure.

The steal of the day was definitely the Michael Kors flats I nabbed at Little Burgundy for $35, originally $138. Although they are extremely impractical for the season, I couldn’t not buy them for that price. Come Springtime I will definitely be sporting them everywhere. I really lucked out as the last pair they had in store were a full size smaller than I normally wear, but somehow they worked for me anyway!

To finish off my little shopping spree, I picked up a couple pairs of over-the-knee socks from H&M to wear with my plaid dresses this Fall. We’ve been having some rather warm weather here in Calgary lately and, believe it or not, I can totally get away with showing that extra bit of skin without any discomfort. Thank god for those Chinooks, am I right?

Did you do any Black Friday shopping this year? I’d love to know what you picked up!
