Chunky Knits & Bold Lips

It feels so good to get back into beauty blogging, especially being snowbound with no trips in the immediate future! I hope you’re all enjoying it as much as I am!!

This look is actually almost the same as I posted the other day with the new Urban Decay Naked Cherry palette. The only difference is that I swiped out the neutral lip for something much more bold.

I don’t wear this look much at all, but seeing these pictures makes me want to rock a bold lip more often!

The shade is called Cherry, which is a deep berry wine. The finish is creamy and moisturizing and packs a lot of pigment. I couldn’t find my matching lip liner so I used the Love Drug eye pencil instead and it worked perfectly. If you’d like to read more about the Naked Cherry collection, you can check out my previous post here.

One thing I love pairing with a good bold lip is a chunky knit! I get all of my Winter knitwear almost exclusively from H&M because they’re cute, super affordable, and never shrink in the wash (or dryer)! I’ve had so many compliments on this mustard knit that I keep running into friends who have now purchased the same one. Long gone are the days of spending $100 on wool sweaters from Aritzia that fall apart in the wash!

Before I wrap up this post, I need to thank a few people who help me keep my beauty game strong! Thanks to Vanessa at Ari + Blair for the fresh cut and colour! Thank you Angela at Esmé Beautiful for always hooking me up with amazing manicures (book Jojo for killer nail art)! And a huge thanks to my newest pal Becky for the gorgeous photos!
