In typical Brittany fashion, I’ve decided to ignore the fact that it’s still Winter, and provide you with Spring inspired content! Enter Park & Fifth…
I was first introduced to this Vancouver based company a couple years ago while modelling for a friend. What really jumped out to me was their impeccable eye for feminine details…silky silhouettes, delicate lace trim, unique florals, and cuts that fit a multitude of body types.
I styled the Hastings Dress with an oversized blazer that I thrifted a couple years ago for a very Pretty Woman style vibe. I love that although this dress is techincally part of their bridal collection, it can really be styled in many different ways as the cut is so classic! It comes in a variety of colours too, so if white just isn’t your thing, there are definitely other options!
When I visited the Park & Fifth location here in Calgary, the lovely Leanne told me an interesting fact that I didn’t know about the company that I think is just SO cool! That is, they use dead-stock/end of the roll fabric before it goes to the landfill. This means a couple of things…it makes them an eco-friendly company and it means that a lot of their pieces are limited edition. So if you see a pattern or a print that you love, you’d better snatch it up fast!
I can’t wait for the real warm months when I can wear this dress out on date nights, but for now I’ll style it whatever way I can!
