I always get excited when a new product launch comes out from Make Up For Ever. Their products are always high up on my favourites list for the fantastic quality, sleek packaging, and wide colour range they offer. I can honestly say I have yet to meet a MUFE product I didn’t like. Obviously they know what they’re doing when it comes to beauty.
This season MUFE has added five new shades to their Aqua Matic collection, the wonderfully long-lasting crease-proof eyeshadow pencils. If you’re a beauty girl, you’ll know that eyeshadow pencils have only been becoming more and more popular this last year and all I have to say on the matter is, of course they are! These days it seems like quick, attainable makeup application is all anyone cares for and I’m on the same boat. When you don’t have hours to prepare a look it definitely helps to have an easy-to-use product you can rely on. These eyeshadow pencils are fantastic in that they glide on smooth, blend out easily, and stay for hours on end.
Also recently added to a pre-existing range is two new summery shades to the Aqua Rouge collection. The high-impact liquid lip colours welcome #21 Cool Candy Pink and #23 Apricot Pink to the family. Providing a waterproof formula that will not transfer, the Aqua Rouge lip colours are all you will want to wear this Summer. I love the bright bubblegum colour of the pink shade and that the duel ended applicator allows me to use both the coloured and clear glosses separately or together. After all, it’s all about having options when you’re on the go.
And now for the new launch, the Pro Bronze Fusion! I was extremely excited to receive this item in particular because, as a fair girl, I usually shy away from bronzers. I have a couple of favourites, but there is seriously nothing worse than a white girl with poorly applied bronzer, just no. Luckily, Make Up For Ever has made it super easy for anyone to apply a flawless, natural looking sun-kissed glow. With the help of the Pro Bronze Fusion Kabuki Brush, you can expertly pick up and blend the new bronzer formula better than any other brush. As someone who has actually never owned a Kabuki brush before (GASP), I can attest to this. I tend to always use the same blush brush for nearly every powder product…habits of a lazy girl I suppose. But as I learned with my eyeshadow technique, what matters just as much as the product you use (if not more) is the tools you are using to apply the product.
The bronzer itself is a lovely non-powdery formula that blends seamlessly for mistake-proof application. I love how the product in the pan has a slight wave to it which only further helps you in picking up the bronzer on your brush. You can check out the entire range at Sephora which includes six different shades in two different finishes, luminous matte and softly iridescent.
What do you think of these new additions? Will you be adding any of them to your shopping list?
