Though I do love to experiment with makeup, my go-to look is always just a simple, enhancing one. My goals are to make my complexion more lifelike (white girl problems for real), my eyes more blue, and my lips more scrumptious! Want to hear all about the products I turn to for these results? Read on!

It all starts with a great primer. I adore the Too Faced Hangover one, not because it allows my makeup to stay around for ages, but because it gives my skin an extra boost of moisture, resulting in a more glowing complexion. Next up, I lightly conceal my dark circles with the Clarins Instant Concealer before following up with the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Coverage Foundation. Of course you’ve all heard me rave on and on about both of these products so I’ll just shut up about them this time and spare you all. I will say though, that my favourite way to apply this foundation (or any foundation) is with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Sponge. It just works so much better for a more natural finish and is a great for dry skin types (less clinging to dry patches).

To add some life into my face, I use the Tartelette Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Celebrated (warm pink nude) on my cheeks and the Urban Decay Illuminated Shimmer Powder in Lit to highlight. My favourite brush for highlighting and powder is the Make Up For Ever 156 brush.

For eyes, really any neutral palette will do, but the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette is such a hot topic right now (and rightly so) that I just had to include it! If you are a neutral lover, you will fall head over heels for this. I love the range of looks you can create with it from enhancing to smokey to even looks with a pop of colour. Amazing.

My ultimate lash-wonder-duo is the Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer followed by the Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara which are a match made in mascara heaven!

To shape and fill my brows I’ve recently been trying out the Pür Minerals Wake Up Brows duel ended pencil. One end has a brow shade and the other a highlight. I really like it! It’s a softer formula than I’m used to, but it really does the trick quite nicely.

Lastly, I like to add a rosy nude lip (or sometimes a light gloss) to finish off my look. Today I used the Too Faced La Crème Drenched Lipstick in Nude Beach. If you’ve never tried these lipsticks before, you need to. They are amazing. We’re talking hydrating, creamy, pigmented…all the good stuff.

What are your favourite products for an enhancing your features? Want to see more of this look? I’m wearing the same makeup (with a different lipstick) in my Monochrome Loving post!
